Eve is back to her small family.
Don't blame Athens.
Aoi nice recovery

Anime & Rutabagas • 11 months ago

Nah I fully blame Aoi's grandfather lol

MeguminExplosion • 11 months ago

started from the bottom, now we at the top -eve

Coronavirus-kun • 11 months ago

Eve's finally reunited with her family and nobody will stand in their way anymore (I hope). After struggling for all these years, they really deserved that. Now she's finally in the starting line
Eve's golf evolved when she recovered her memories. Now it's Aoi's turn to awaken her true potential. They were teasing her true power from episode 2 from 1st season so I was especially hyped for that and I wasn't disappointed at all!
I was also waiting for Amane's backstory. She had to give up on her dreams but it turns out Aoi became her dream. That's magnificent

MeguminExplosion • 11 months ago

Eve can still get the bad ending lol. Like the girl in gundam iron blood orpheus, the turbines who went to the toy store for a stuffed bear

vovan1 • 11 months ago

o no, i hope mafia strikes back :(

wwlaos • 11 months ago

Only if they bring AT-ATs.

Talos darkbane • 11 months ago

I highly doubt the mafia will get involved again for one reason Eve's grandfather is not one to be messed with and he set up the golf match to get that other small time mafia boss off her back and he is a BIG mafia boss. The other women would be not in her right mind nor value her life anymore if she decided to mess with his granddaughter after making a mafia family promise and wager.

Coronavirus-kun • 11 months ago

It may be more interesting this way as it would add some spice in the story but please give this girl a break lol

vovan1 • 11 months ago

ok, but only one ep. :)

Masumi • 11 months ago

This whole time I thought Amane was way older than Aoi o.o It's sad she didn't get to be a kid...

Lucyw18 • 11 months ago

Eve's grandpa might be with the mafia but he does seem like the better guy compaired to Aoi's Grandpa

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

yeah eve's grandpa seems pretty chill while aoi grandpa seems like he would kill amuro if aoi loses

Endcsline • 11 months ago

Every player's unique ability had a certain gimmick behind it so far.
- Every color shot is best for a certain scenario
- Rainbow shot is the backwards spin finisher with style
- In the zone is absolute focus, seeing a path
And Aoi's Shining Shot is just a better shot propelled by plot armor

Kagnon • 11 months ago

The club was sponsored by Redbull

vovan1 • 11 months ago

let's call it Plot Carrier Shot

JadeJade • 11 months ago

It is time for some yuri golf

Kanon • 11 months ago

Shining shot is just a shitty imitation of rainbow shot

Kanon • 11 months ago

And I really want the whole world to know that Eve is the real daughter of Kazuhiko Hodaka

Endcsline • 11 months ago

So cringe, shining shot not even getting into the hole after all that buildup.
Eve would have one-tapped that hole from that spot

Esenpai • 11 months ago

We all know how goated Eve's golf is. She'd have been long dead if not for it. Not the most fair comparison.

Anime & Rutabagas • 11 months ago

Since Eve is back with her family....

Is this the last we'll see Snake woman Vipère T^T lol

Yamamoto Takeshi • 11 months ago

Doubt it

Monkey D. Luna • 11 months ago

I'm rooting for that girl!

arra1213 • 11 months ago

akane is the today's 🏆
and gunpla girl is back lol

Monkey D. Luna • 11 months ago

When Aoi's ball landed in the rough... people from the Amawashi group hurriedly pushed the coach's wheelchair in that area so he can give her a powerup by just gracing her with his presence.

MegaRyuki • 11 months ago

And somehow they became telepaths at that moment

Paradise SLU • 11 months ago

Cool shot, nice episode.

Paradise SLU • 11 months ago

Its Birdie wing time!!!

Dazed • 11 months ago

Take some of that blame upon yourself, Seira. That's the least you could do to make up for some of your selfishness.

Tbh from a story perspective I would find it a lot more impactful for Aoi to lose here. The very tournament her mother and grandfather have been grooming her for. They would be forced to come clean and only then Aoi grants them the reputation they've been yearning for.

It would at least do a lot more for the characters than Aoi turning around a hopeless score, still winning and her mother & grandfather feeling good about themselves. She could be told the truth and get angry with her mother & grandfather, but it is much more likely they'll just have Aoi brush over it all, give her mom a hug while saying some misplaced words of understanding her mom's struggle and then getting ready to face Eve.

The way they're going about it now feels like putting the cart before the horse.

Kuriyama Nikki • 11 months ago

I think from story perspective, its not feasible to make her lose now. This is because this tournament is an important journey in her life. You dont get to go professional on just any day. So if she lose now, she would missed her chance and would have to wait at least for next year for the same tournament again. And that would leave a gap between her story and Eve's story, cause we know they wont meet until their world tour. Unless they make Eve lose as well, which they have no reason to do so.

Dazed • 11 months ago

Indeed, which is why I would have Aoi go through this in a game leading upto the Japanese Women's Open, not the actual Open.

Now she must win and as a consequence we have no time to properly work through even the most basic of issues: Who her real dad is.

It doesn't feel warranted:
- The coach falls ill just before the big match and Aoi loses her bearings
- Her mom is still stubbornly stuck in her ways.
- Nothing about Aoi's doubts have been resolved.
- Give Granpa a piece of mind.

Those are all flags that tend to need to be resolved first, so the win feels warranted. Or at the least one.

She even needs to do something as miraculous as turning around being 'four over'. For that sort of miracle to happen in any type of story the character in question needs to have initiated a change in themselves and those directly around her. None of that happened. She's going to bring about the miracle like a magician brings the rabbit out from his hat. Staged. Pretend conviction.

But yes, you're right, we've come to a point where none of that can be satisfactorily remedied anymore. She needs this win or there needs to be some form of foul play with another player that still allows her to proceed or some other completely nonsensical justification like a sick person being discharged from the hospital to take a demanding flight or car ride to cheer on a 'pupil'. Granpa didn't even leave his sofa to go watch the culmination of all his work in person. Ridiculous.

DrClawizdead • 11 months ago

I think Aoi deserves to win with all she has been going through in the last few episodes. I would like her to win, find out who her real father is, and abandon her mother and grandfather to play with Eve in Europe.

Dazed • 11 months ago

Her mother & grandfather would also like her to become world class, so Europe will definitily not be something they'll mind. They frankly just didn't want Eve messing up their perfect plan in Japan and putting a premature stop to Aoi's perfect trackrecord before hitting the world league.

Aoi deserves to win, but it would be perfectly understandable if she didn't due to her unstable mindset. Once all has been cleared up, it would be a lot more understandable for her to concentrate on winning without any worries piling stress upon her.

The show is trying to go for a shortcut by having 'the coach' her father appear haphazardly. It's enough of a boost to convince viewers the win was 'earned', but it's sloppy and could be made much more gripping than it will be now. I'm not convinced for one and others don't hide it under chairs and tables that this drama feels hamfisted. They don't let it properly simmer after all, they just present it to you raw and instantly give you the dessert afterwards. Not fulfilling. That would be my take if I'm allowed to be critical. Aoi's side of the emotional struggle has always felt like it got the shorter end of the stick compared to Eve's. Sad to say.

Os • 11 months ago

Ruined by Athens my arse

7thSigner • 11 months ago

Eve: "Sucks to be you. I don't have a father, so no daddy issues" XD

churchblue • 11 months ago

That's a bit much.

Glinda • 11 months ago

Woha, what a complex episode... at least Aoi knows the truth more or less... I so hope her real teacher/father lives and doesn't die... I'm glad someone finally put her mother in her place - don't make Aoi suffer More...
We'll see what happens next.

MegaRyuki • 11 months ago

Too much unnecessary drama on Aoi, meh she will lose anyway, in the end that whole theathrics was in vain and she reacted the same way as i expected, instead of shouthing to the heavens he's her dad she just accepts it like a normal person, well he was on her side practically her entire life tho but that asshole of her grandpa is still a fucker

ramenmen • 11 months ago

Pen*s line, pen*s line~

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

im happy aoi found her groove

UglySatchFanatic • 11 months ago

It won't be a fair fight if Aoi got the perfect clubs to fit her while Eve is just using the standard clubs. Equipment can enhance a player's performance.
We already saw 5 of the 7 rainbow shots. I wonder what the last 2 shots can do?
Seira can't trick Aoi. She knew she's lying. She's a papa's girl.
Eve will have a match with her sister student?

Monkey D. Luna • 11 months ago

Eve using standard clubs will be the perfect handicap... she can brute force her way to winning with just sheer talent...

or maybe her mafioso granpa will give her some customized gundanium alloy clubs that she won't be able to refuse.

Christian Ng • 11 months ago

She already used 7 colors of bullets the indigo bullet was last color shot.

Blue Bullet: An extremely strong shot that works well for long distance shooting.
Red Bullet: Also known as Heavenly Red Bullet. Makes golf balls shoot up high into the sky for shots from above.
Green Bullet: A strong put shot.
Yellow Bullet: Allows Eve to escape any bunker.
Purple (Aoi) Bullet: Unlike Eve's other bullets, the Purple Bullet can curve.
Orange (Kazuhiko) Bullet: A strong shot that aims for the flag instead of the hole to get a sure-fire shot.
Indigo Bullet: Allows Eve to bounce shots off of the water.
Rainbow (Kazuhiko) Shot: A sure-fire shot that uses a spin of the ball to always get in.

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

aoi's clubs are made from her brother and sister's bones
